Sedgwick County Names New Human Resources Director

Sheena Schmutz recently joined Sedgwick County as the new Director of Human Resources. Schmutz has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and more than 10 years’ experience in local government and human resources, most recently serving as Director of Human Resources for the City of Liberal. She was also a Management Intern and Human Resources Specialist for Sedgwick County from 2005 to 2010.

Schmutz is an active member of Toastmasters International and the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR), where she has served as the IPMA-HR Kansas Chapter President twice.
