Sedgwick County to Launch Mobile-Compatible Website

Sedgwick County will launch a new mobile-compatible website on Sunday, Oct. 5. Users of www.sedgwickcounty.org will now have enhanced accessibility on whatever device they choose: smartphones, tablets, as well as computers.

In 2012, Sedgwick County combed through the website, reorganizing it to fit the user’s needs and clearing outdated information. The new responsive web design is the next step in this ongoing effort to promote convenience and transparency.

“Our goal now is to meet citizens where they are: constantly on the go,” said Kristi Zukovich, director of Sedgwick County Communications and Community Initiatives. “Implementing a new layout will move us forward and improve the online experience.”

The website was developed by staff in the Communications and Community Initiatives office and the Division of Information and Operations.
