South Bluff Groundwater Study Informational Meeting to be held on July 13

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Sedgwick County Environmental Resources will host an informational meeting about groundwater and flooding for the South Bluff area. The meeting will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at Haysville Middle School Gym #1, located at 900 W. Grand. This event will help citizens understand groundwater, discuss possible solutions and answer questions.

The purpose of this study is to better understand the topography, geology and hydrology for the following area: 71st St. S. on the north, the MS Mitch Mitchell Floodway/Arkansas River on the east, 119th St. S. on the south, and I-35 on the west.
