Sedgwick County Reaches High CDC COVID-19 Community Level

Sedgwick County is now at a “High” level of community transmission for COVID-19, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's COVID-19 Community Level framework

People are encouraged to wear a mask indoors in public, stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines, and get tested if they have symptoms. Additional precautions may be needed for people at high risk for severe illness.

COVID-19 Community Levels are determined by the number of COVID-19 cases reported over the last 7 days per 100,000 residents, new hospital admissions, and the number of hospital beds occupied by COVID-19 patients.
