Advanced CERT Team
The Sedgwick County Advanced CERT Team is an organized group of volunteers specially trained to fill specific roles during our response to a disaster. Our Advanced Team continues to build on their capabilities having only formed in July 2023. Our vision is to create a versatile, multi-functional team of volunteers who help us and their community by responding to help those in need during a disaster. Those roles may include:
- Damage Assessment Recon Team (DART)
- Volunteer Reception Center support (VRC)
- Multi-Agency Resource Center support (MARC)
- Generators and Lighting
- Emergency Operations Center (EOC), Logistical, and/or Command Post support
- Public Outreach Team
- Field Hospital support

MEETINGS
The Advanced CERT Team meets 6-8p.m., every 2nd Thursday of the month. Meeting locations change based on the content of the training.
