Archived: Sedgwick County Fire provides aid to Rice County

Sedgwick County Fire District 1 was requested to assist with a wildland fire in Rice County late yesterday. A brush truck and two personnel deployed Wednesday evening. This team spent the night fighting the fire with other partners in the neighboring county. They were relieved this morning when a second crew deployed.
