A third suspect has been arrested following an assault in the spring of 2024.

WICHITA, KAN. – A third suspect in an assault involving an acidic substance last summer in Wichita has been arrested. A detention hearing is scheduled this afternoon in Juvenile District Court in Wichita for a 17 year old girl. She was arrested in Topeka and returned to Wichita Tuesday by sheriff deputies.

The other two suspects in the assault, 19 year old Tayronnia West of Park City and 19 year old Ye’Kira Hollins of Wichita, are scheduled for a jury trial in Sedgwick County District Court on April 28th.  Each is charged with aggravated battery.
