Detention Career Fair 4/6/19
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a Detention Career Fair on Saturday, April 6, 2019. The event will be held at the Wichita/Sedgwick County Law Enforcement Training Center, located at 4310 E. 19th Street North Wichita, Kansas, on the Wichita State University Campus.
Registration for the career fair will start at 8:00 a.m. and the application process will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Those interested in attending the career fair should bring the following: workout clothes, tennis shoes, their social security card and high school diploma, as testing will be taking place.
Individuals that are 18 years of age and older, or are soon to be graduating high school, are encouraged to attend. The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office detention deputy position offers a competitive salary, paid vacation, sick leave, medical/ dental/ vision/ life insurance, and KPERS retirement.
The Detention Career Fair is part of the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office efforts to increase staffing in the detention facility.
