On July 15, 2021, at 3:46 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a drowning involving a child at a residence in the 20200 block of west 21st Street North. During the investigation deputies learned the child accessed the above ground pool in the backyard of the residence without the knowledge of his guardians.
The child, Chasson Carver (3) of Las Vegas, Nevada, died at the scene.
The circumstances of the drowning are under investigation.
