On March 4th, 2023 at 11:29 P.M. the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the area of 4200 S. Clifton to check the welfare of an individual lying in the street. Deputies arrived at 11:31 P.M. and found several bystanders who were providing aid to an individual. The victim has been identified as Evan Harrison, a 24-year-old white male of Wichita. Harrison was found to have a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. This is believed to be an isolated incident.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is looking for anyone who may have information about this incident or who may have had contact with Harrison prior to the incident.
