Homicide Investigation 4/3/2019

On April 2, 2019, at approximately 8:22 a.m., Sedgwick County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to a residential alarm at 11400 E. Turtle Creek Circle.  Deputies arrived a short time later and found the front door open.  Deputies identified themselves and then made entry into the residence.  Deputies found a male and female in bed with obvious gunshot wounds.  

During the investigation, it was determined Johnna M. Raymond, a 54 year old white female, had shot her husband, Robert  N. Raymond, a 70 year old white male, and then shot herself. Robert and Johnna were pronounced deceased at the scene.  

The family of the victims have been notified.  Investigators from the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate this tragedy.
