Impaired Driving Campaign Results
From Wednesday, December 26th, through Tuesday, January 1st, deputies from the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office participated in the Kansas Department of Transportation’s (KDOT) Taking Down DUI Campaign. This initiative was funded by KDOT and the focus was on non-restraint use and impaired or distracted driving.
During that time period, deputies in Sedgwick County issued 104 traffic citations. Additionally, deputies made 5 DUI arrests and had 12 drug cases.
