In response to the current detention deputy shortage, effective March 29, 2021, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office detention lobby will be closed from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

 

In emergency situations, detention staff can be contacted at 660-0899. A listing of incarcerated individuals, to include charges, remains available at:

To ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors and inmates, Sheriff’s Office commissioned deputies will be working in the detention facility.

 

Safety and security remains paramount, and the Sheriff’s Office is actively addressing the staffing shortage.
