James Dalrymple Charged

On October 30th, 2018, James N. Dalrymple was charged with two counts of Involuntary Manslaughter and Failing to Yield the Right of Way.  The two counts of Involuntary Manslaughter are felony crimes.  Failing to Yield the Right of Way is a misdemeanor crime.  

These charges stemmed from the investigation of the traffic accident that occurred on April 27th, 2018, at 2100 N. 167th Street West.  

Tragically, Stacey Woodson and Braeden Woodson, his 9 year old son, were both killed as a result of the traffic accident.  Stacey Woodson was a Wichita Police Officer. 

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office will not be releasing any additional information regarding this case.  All inquiries should now be made to District Attorney’s Office of the 18th Judicial District.
