Pedestrian Accident 4.23.21

On April 23, 2021, at approximately 6:55 A.M., deputies were summoned to a vehicle/pedestrian collision on Spirit AeroSystems campus near Gate 13 (4400 E MacArthur). During the collision investigation deputies learned an eastbound GMC truck driven by a 39 year old male struck a 48 year old male walking northbound. The driver of the GMC stopped after the collision and remained at the scene.

 

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital by EMS with critical injuries. The driver of the GMC was not injured.
