REMINDER- JMS Update

As a reminder, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office detention facility will be going through a computer software upgrade from March 24, 2023, through March 26, 2023.

The upgrade is the culmination of an approximate three-year project and will help modernize detention operations.

The admission and release of detainees will continue, during the upgrade, but may take longer than usual.

Because of operational limitations, during the upgrade, the following services will be temporarily unavailable: commissary, family visitation, and professional visitation.

Other unexpected delays could also occur during the upgrade.

 The public’s patience is greatly appreciated during this time.
