Sedgwick County Inmate Health Update

A Sedgwick County inmate was found unresponsive on January 25, at about 8:45 p.m.  

After immediate medical attention from onsite staff and responding EMS personnel, the 49 year old male was transported by EMS to a local hospital. 

Due to his critical condition, and based on medical advice, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office contacted the inmate’s family and made accommodations for them to visit. 

 The inmate’s name is being withheld pending family approval.    He was booked into the Sedgwick County Detention Facility on January 3, 2019, on misdemeanor charges.  

On January 26, 2019, at 1234 pm. the inmate was court ordered released from Sheriff’s Office custody.
