On September 4th, 2022 at approximately 11:30PM, deputies were sent to a disturbance call for a shooting in the 4300 block of Wood Hollow. When deputies arrived, they located 19-year-old Jorianah R. Williams, of Wichita, suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. She was transported by EMS with critical injuries to a local hospital, where she currently remains. The suspect, a 17-year-olf black male of Wichita, was arrested at the residence and booked into the Sedgwick County Juvenile Detention Facility for aggravated battery and an outstanding warrant. There are no further suspects at this time.

 

The victim and suspect are in a romantic relationship.
