Homicide 3900 W Fairhaven
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating persons of interest in relation to the shooting at 3900 W Fairhaven on December 29, 2020. If you know the whereabouts of Joshua Dean Halstead W/M (34) or Jacquellyn Michelle Arthur W/F (28) please call 911 and report.
***UPDATE***
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims of the December 29, 2020 shooting at 3900 W Fairhaven as Bradley Michael Reece, a 43 year old white male, from Wichita, Kansas and Kayla Schmidt, a 22 year old white female, also of Wichita. Reece died at the scene. Schmidt died from her injuries at a local hospital on December 31, 2020.

During the morning hours of January 6, 2021, deputies with the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office located and arrested Joshua Dean Halstead, a 34 year old white male and Jacquellyn Michelle Arthur, a 28 year old white female in the 4300 block of west St. Louis Street in Wichita. Both Halstead and Arthur were sought in connection to shooting deaths that occurred on December 29, 2020 at 3900 W Fairhaven.
Both Halstead and Arthur have been booked at the Sedgwick County Detention Facility on two counts of first degree murder and one count of aggravated robbery.
