Update Recovered Stolen Property 02.13.19

On Thursday, February 21, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office will have all of the recovered property from the burglary investigation at 1015 W. Stillwell.  We believe the recovered property was from burglaries committed in late 2018 to present.  Victims of burglaries and thefts during that time frame are encouraged to attend this exhibition.  In order to recover property, the victim will have to present proof of ownership (photos, receipts, serial numbers, police reports, etc.).  Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office and Wichita Police Department investigators will be present to assist victims.   

At this time, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office DOES NOT have itemized inventory of all of the recovered property.  We are currently working to establish an accurate inventory and getting the items in place for the public viewing on Thursday.  If burglary and/or theft victims would like to contact the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office prior to Thursday, we ask them to call (316) 660-5318.  The victims should leave a detailed message including their assigned case number and a description of their property.
