A Wichita man was sentenced in connection with human trafficking.

WICHITA, KAN. – A man was sentenced to prison in connection with human trafficking in the Wichita area. District Judge Christopher Magana sentenced Alan Jones, 36 of Wichita, to 92 months with lifetime post release. On June 25th, Jones pled guilty to attempted commercial sexual exploitation of a child, promoting the sale of sexual relations, aggravated
assault, attempted robbery, criminal threat and criminal damage to property.


On Tuesday, Judge Magana also ordered $4,961.41 in restitution go to his victims, $2500 to the Human Trafficking Assistance Fund, and $800 to the Sedgwick County Child Advocacy Center.
