Gonzalez pleads guilty in St. Patrick's Church vandalism case.

[WICHITA, KANSAS] – Michael Angel Gonzalez pleaded guilty today to multiple charges stemming from a March 15, 2025, incident at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Gonzalez pleaded guilty to one count of Burglary, a severity level 7 nonperson felony, and one count of Criminal Desecration, also a severity level 7 nonperson felony. Additionally, he pleaded guilty to one count of Theft, a Class A nonperson misdemeanor, and one count of Criminal Damage to Property, a Class B nonperson misdemeanor.
The charges are connected to a significant act of vandalism at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Damage included a statue of St. Patrick, thrown and damaged votive candles and candlesticks, shattered interior glass panes, and graffiti scrawled on a wall.
