Rural Address Marking Program
Sedgwick County Fire District 1 offers free rural address signs as part of a program to help fire, EMS and law enforcement officials locate your house in the event of an emergency. If you live in an unincorporated area of Sedgwick County, the Fire District will supply and install a free address sign for your property.
The signs come in different styles, vertical, horizontal and diagonal to fit your mailbox post or other mounting location.
The Fire District installs all signs on existing posts, it will be the property owners responsibility to install or secure a mounting location.
