What is the Health Alliance?
The Health Alliance is a coalition of community agencies who serve Sedgwick County residents. Any community member, healthcare provider, non-profit organization, business, coalition, or other entity is welcome to attend meetings. Most meetings feature a speaker, sharing of community resources, and updates on the Sedgwick County Community Health Improvement Plan.
Health Alliance Meetings
The Health Alliance meets the first Friday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Sedgwick County Health Department, 1900 E. 9th St. N., Wichita, KS 67214.
Most recent meeting:
October 2: Attendees participated in an interactive activity to identify sectors, networks, and agencies beyond the Health Alliance. These agencies will be provided Community Health Improvement Plan information and asked to provide feedback about the CHIP initiative - connecting people to resources.
Next meeting:
November 6: We welcome Regan Lipphardt from the Central and Western Kansas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association as our guest speaker.
