What type of information is required to sign up?
Name and email address.
How should I enter my name?
For best results, do not enter your middle initial or name suffixes (i.e. Jr, Sr, Junior, Senior, III, etc.). Do not use punctuation or symbols in the search criteria.
My first name is spelled many ways, how should I enter it?
It is recommended that you enter the first letter of your first name when subscribing. For example, if your name is Steve, Stephen or Steven, you may want to enter “S” as your first name to make the search a little more broad.
What if my last name has a space between two names?
If you have a name like Van Cleave, you might consider entering two subscriptions one with the space and one without in case it is entered differently on the documents.
My name is very common, will I receive notification alerts that might belong to someone else?
Yes, that is very possible. You can view the document using our online document search to see if the document is relevant to you or your property.
How should business names be entered?
Leave the First Name blank and enter the business name in the Last Name field. For best results, if your name begins with “The” do not enter it.
