2025 Community Health Summit
On September 10, 2025, community members and organizations from across Sedgwick County came together for the 2025 Community Health Summit to review the 2025 Community Health Assessment (CHA), a snapshot of Sedgwick County’s health outcomes, and discuss key findings with partners and peers.
The event featured presentations from Ascension Via Christi, the Wyandotte County Public Health Department, and WSU, as well as group discussions, and wide representation from 69 attendees representing community members and 35 organizations.
On this page, you can explore event highlights—including photos and presentation materials—and find ways to stay involved.
There’s still time to share your voice by completing the community survey (extended through September 26) and by joining the upcoming Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) Development Meetings on October 14 and December 9.
The Health Priority Survey is now available!
Please take this five-minute survey to help the Sedgwick County Health Department and community partners choose the top health issues to address in the 2026–28 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). Results will be shared at the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) Development meeting on October 14, 2025. Click here to begin.
