Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office Annex Facility

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office opened the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office Annex Facility in January of 2019.  The Annex is  located at 701 West Harry. The building previously served as the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office Work Release Facility.

The facility underwent major renovation to serve in its current capacity as an auxiliary detention facility. The Annex will help with inmate overcrowding at the main facility and reduce out of county housing expenditures.

The Annex houses 180 inmates, including six inmate workers. It is be staffed by sixteen full-time deputies, two sergeants and one lieutenant.
