IDD Vaccine Clinics
Vaccine Clinics will be available for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, eligible family members and staff (see eligibility requirements below) at the following locations and dates (you must schedule an appointment using the link above or one of the two links below to receive the vaccine):
Starkey, 144 S. Young, Suite 500, Wichita, KS - (Click here to schedule an appointment at Starkey)
- March 25 - 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- March 26 - 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- March 27 - 9 a.m. to noon
ResCare, 5112 E. 36th North, Wichita, KS - (Click here to schedule an appointment at ResCare)
- April 2 - 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
People eligible to receive vaccinations through the IDD Vaccine Clinics:
- Individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Family/Caregivers meeting COVID-19 vaccination criteria
- SCDDO Affiliate Employees
For those youth age 16-17 years old, guardians may schedule an appointment at a Sedgwick County Health Department vaccination site at https://www.sedgwickcounty.org/covid-19/vaccine/schedule/. If unable to access the website, they may call (316) 660-1029 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, to schedule an appointment. Do not schedule at the Downtown Wichita Vaccine Clinic at the Old Library on Thursday mornings as youth aged 16-17 will need to receive the Pfizer vaccine. For those with mobility issues they can call (316) 660-1029 to be scheduled at the drive thru location.
