Measles (MMR) Vaccine Recommendations

The measles virus can be serious and can easily infect people who are not vaccinated. The measles virus spreads through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes; it can stay in the air for up to two hours after an infected person leaves.

Residents are encouraged to check their vaccination records and talk with their healthcare provider about getting the MMR vaccine if needed.
