Clinical Report

The Utstein survival report below contains detailed data on cardiac resuscitation attempts, etiology, rhythm, outcome and neurological status.

According to the CDC, Utstein survival refers to survival to hospital discharge of those cardiac patients whose arrest events were witnessed by a bystander and that involved persons who had an initial rhythm of ventricular fibrillation or pulseless ventricular tachycardia. These patients are the most likely to respond to CPR or defibrillation and are thus more likely to survive an Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) event.
