2026 Adopted Budget
On August 20, the Board of County Commissioners adopted the 2026 budget of $622,449,530. The 2026 budget was developed to provide relief to taxpayers while ensuring fundamental services are met and prioritizing the County's fiscal and human resources toward its most essential and mission-critical services. Assessed valuation growth in Sedgwick County is 8.5 percent and 8.2 percent in Fire District 1. Property tax rates are 27.567 mills for Sedgwick County and 16.754 mills for Fire District 1.
